Description of the Car Seat Locking Device:

Proper use of car seats requires that the car seat be securely restrained with the standard seat belt. It can be quite difficult, however, to tighten the seat belt in a way that prevents unwanted movement of the car seat. Often, the parent will struggle to buckle the seat belt, only to discover that it still permits excessive lateral movement of the car seat.

The Car Seat Locking Device permits the buckling of the standard seat belt without undue effort, and permits the user to tighten the seat belt securely. This is accomplished through its ratchet wheel design, which is what locks the seat belt into place. The Car Seat Locking Device can be easily removed, as it can also be used it to tighten other types of belt straps.
