Patented Mirror of Time Clock, and Cross Clock is a new invention available for license: U.S. Patent # 6,996,031
Father Time just got modern, receiving his degree in Digital Technology ...
Both the Mirror of Time Clock and the Cross Clock work in the same way: The hour hand and the minute had are either flashing or are of a different color than all the other numbers. In the first example, the time is 11:11 (The 11 in the upper left-hand corner shows the hour hand, while the 11 in the bottom middle shows the minute hand.)
The Mirror of Time Clock has proven to be a popular item among the inventor's family and friends, and is protected by a patent.
Both types of clocks can work in 1 of 2 ways:
1. All numbers are the same color, except for the hour hand and the minute hand, which also makes it very easy to tell the time. In the Mirror of Time Clock above, all hands are all blue except for the hour hand (11) and the minute hand (also 11) which are red, meaning that the time is 11:11.
2. All numbers are the same color, and with LCD technology, both hands blink constantly, making it very easy to tell the time. The Cross Clock below illustrates this, although you can't see the blinking in these still pictures.
In total darkness, you will not see the mirror (on the Mirror of Time Clock) or the frame (on the Cross Clock), but you will see the numbered display lights suspended in mid-air or mounted on the wall, just like magic! The Mirror of Time Clock can even display your message, corporate logo or family name in the middle of the mirror.
The following images of the Cross Clock, titled "It's Time for Christ," illustrate some of the many design possibilities, and it is patent-pending ...
This next one shows a time of 12:05, as the hour hand (12) and the minute
hand (5) are both white ...
This "Grandson Clock" below also shows a time of 12:05 ...
